Wiener received his Bachelors of Fine Arts at Massachusetts College of Art in 2001 and his Masters of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007. Recently he finished a residency at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and a 2009-10 DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) Scholarship for Fine Arts in Leipzig, Germany. Currently, he is a Lecturer in Fine Arts at Brandeis University.
