For the Boston Center for The Arts (Mills Gallery) installation, I installed twelve prints on two adjoining walls that were made from inkjet transparencies and construction paper that were exposed to UV light over a period of 7 days. Additionally, there are 3 pedestals set in front of the windows of this space, which contain 3 cooking prints that will ultimately join the images on the wall, effectively doubling the fading original. This process continued throughout the length of the exhibition until all of the prints on the wall have a newer, fresher companion, calling attention to the transient nature of the images relation to human memory.
